Q1. When does the season begin and end
and where is it played?
Answer: The season begin August and runs until end of October-
All games played at South County Park, Boca Raton.
Q2. How many games are played a week?
Answer: There are 2 games a week. One is played on a weekday
and the other is on Saturday
Generally smaller kids play weekday games at 6:15 P.M. and older
at 7:30 P.M.
Q3. Is there any special equipment that
is required?
Answer: The only thing that is REQUIRED is a mouth piece. Though
most of the players have the rubber sole football shoes. Uniforms
are supplied by the league.
Q4. What are the age groups?
Answer: 5- 13 year olds. Girls or boys.
Q5. How many player per team?
Answer: Various depending on the number of sign ups but its
usually around 14 players per team
Unlike some flag football leagues, we field 11 players just
like real football.
Q6. I just registered, when will I be
contacted about the team information and schedule?
Answer: Usually around the second week in August ,the teams
will have been determined and you will get a call from the coach
with all the information you will need.
Q7. Does the league allow requests for
players on the same team?
Answer: Unfortunately we DON'T. This prevents stacking of teams.
Q8. Will my child get a fair amount of
time on the field?
Answer: The rule is that every kid plays and that each kid has
to play at least half of the game in a starting position. Positions
are determined by the team coach and generally is based on ability.
Not everyone handles the ball.
